Aretha Franklin may not be an artist you expect to have a road song in her catalog, but then there’s this tough funk workout. She makes you feel the anticipation of getting off of the road and coming home to someone you love.
This song may also be the one thing Aretha Franklin has in common with Foghat (they were probably both inspired by Howard Tate’s version).The Theme Is…The Road.
